A major franchising exhibition will take place at Manchester Central in June, with free entry available to Bytestart readers.
The British Franchise Exhibition, which takes place at Manchester Central on 21st and 22nd of June 2013 is aimed at people thinking of starting a new business venture – with the backup provided by leading franchising firms.
Attendees will be able to find out about all aspects of running a franchise, via a series of free seminars, exhibits by a wide range of businesses who offer franchising opportunities, and financial and career advice from experts in the field.
The exhibitors cover industry sectors as diverse as property, retail and food and drink – including McDonalds, which is also hosting a series of Open Sessions for potential franchisees who are interested in a ‘hands-on’ approach to running a customer-focused business.
A popular feature at the event is Real Franchise Stories where visitors can gain insightful first-hand views on what it is really like to be a franchisee. Each session will include franchisees from a range of companies and sectors, sharing their own experiences including their successes and the challenges.
The Finance Clinic will feature a panel of experts who can advise on how best to raise funds and how to fulfil banks’ lending criteria. You may also benefit from visiting the The Careers Clinic to discuss your options with experts advisors who can help you create your own career / business plan.
The event has been accredited by the British Franchise Association (bfa), which obligates all exhibitors to follow the organisation’s code of ethics.
