Business in Bloom campaign aims to help 500,000 people start a business in 2011

February 8, 2011

Less than two weeks after launch, a new campaign to help people start up and grow their own businesses is on target, having attracted support from businesses and organisations across the country.

The campaign was launched by home business company, Enterprise Nation, to motivate people towards having an entrepreneurial future, especially in an era of cost cutting and rising unemployment.

Recent research suggests that while small businesses will be crucial to the economic recovery, entrepreneurialism itself needs to be actively encouraged and supported.

Enterprise Nation itself is pledging its support through a number of its own projects, including the Start-Up Kit, which includes “everything you need to start a small business”, Bitsy “the friendliest business to business marketplace on the web” and live events, this year in London and Manchester.

Enterprise agencies, business support providers, corporate suppliers and small business owners are being asked by the campaign organisers to come forward and pledge support.
