eBay introduces "ProStores" to further boost sales

Auction giant, eBay, has introduced a new product, Prostores, which will enable serious sellers to set up their own independent sites, but still process all their transactions via eBay systems (incuding Paypal).

The BBC suggests this is a move to increase client loyalty at a time when "fixed price" eBay sales are growing much faster than traditional auctions.

There are four tiers of ProStores with monthly subscription fees ranging from $6.95 to $249.95. Plus, eBay Store sellers will get a 30% discount on their ProStores subscription fees for as long as they subscribe to both. It should be noted that this service is currently only available to people in the U.S, but where the U.S leads, the U.K is bound to follow at some stage!
