Drop-Off stores take hassle out of selling on eBay UK
For many of us, eBay is probably the most convenient way to sell your goods (or personal effects) online. Now, a U.S phenomenon aims to make the auction process even easier when it arrives in the UK this month.
iSold It's 'clicks & mortar' store concept enables eBay and other internet auction customers to drop off items they would usually have to sell online themselves.
In the US, iSold It has gone from 0 to 170 stores in under two years with 800 additional stores under contract and gross sales of $20m last year.
The concept seems very simple - customers simply drop off any items they wish to sell at the store. iSold It manage the photography and listings on eBay, as well as researching the potential value of each item. Customers can then track the auctions online.
Once the item sells, iSold It collect payment and take care of the shipping process before sending out a cheque, minus fees for providing the service.
iSold It's head office is based in Redditch and the first store is opening in Birmingham this month.
