Companies Act 2006 - The longest piece of legislation... ever!

In case we needed reminding, The Times has published an interesting article outlining the key components of the Companies Act 2006.

It's main aim is to simplify company law (particularly for small businesses), but with the Act running into 701 sections, it is the longest single piece of legislation ever passed by Parliament!
