Cameron the favourite candidate for top bosses
Tory leadership contender David Cameron is the choice of big business to lead the party, according to a survey of 1200 executives attending the Leaders in London event.
The findings come just after the first ballot of Conservative MP's held at Westminster earlier in the week.
The poll, which asked who the most influential leader would be out of past and present Tory candidates put Cameron on 34%, Baroness Thatcher on 23%, David Davis on 13%, Kenneth Clarke on 11%, and Liam Fox in last place.
Tory MP's go back to the ballot box again today (Thursday) to choose the final 2 leadership candidates to face the 'public vote' of around 300,000 party members, following Kenneth Clarke's ejection from the race on Tuesday.
