Google's latest addition - the Calendar
Barely a month goes by without Google unveiling a new application - from the essential Toolbar, to Maps, Mail and the 'Mini'.
The latest addition is an online calendar tool which has connects to Gmail, Google's mail system. The calendar allows users to create separate electronic work and personal datebooks.
The calendar has been praised by technical analysts and many online communities, however only time will tell if the calendar is set to be the next "big thing".
Some of the features of the new system include:
Calendar Sharing: You can set up business or personal event schedules, and share them.
Invitations: Create event invitations, send them to friends, and keep track of people's responses and comments, all in one place. Y
Gmail Integration: Add events to your calendar without ever leaving your Gmail inbox. Gmail now recognises events mentioned in emails.
Search: Remind yourself of an important event date which you've forgotten, or search public calendars to discover new events you're interested in and add them to your own calendar.
Mobile Access: Receive event reminders and notifications on your mobile phone.
Event Publishing: Share your organisation's events with the world.
