Deadline nears for Start-Up Stars awards

print  e-mail

This year's Start-Up Stars competition launched on 20 February 2006. It is the UK's premier business awards, supported by Sky News and the Daily Express and is open to all businesses less than 3 years old. The deadline for entries is 28th April 2006.

Start-Up Stars isn't aimed solely at the most profitable businesses with high turnovers, but also aims to recognise those who have identified a business opportunity and used creativity and sound business practice to make it a success.

Start-Up Stars also serves as an inspiration to all those contemplating setting up on their own and demonstrates through practical examples that business dreams can be turned into reality.

You can submit your success story to the Start-Up Stars team by explaining how you started your own business, how you set it in motion, where you went for help and what your plans are for the future.

Entries are welcomed from sole traders, partnerships and companies where the majority of the shares are held in private ownership.
