Apprentice gives advice to young entrepreneurs - 20th May Webchat |   |
While many of us are glued the latest series of The Apprentice each Wednesday night, it seems that the UK's teenagers are already out there living the entrepreneurial dream.
A nationwide survey has found that a growing number of teenagers are running successful bedroom businesses with 21,000 earning in excess of £60,000 annually online - nearly three times the average UK salary.
These young tycoons often use sites such as Amazon and eBay to get started, but many are also setting up online stores or selling space on forums and blogs to advertisers and sponsors.
The next step is turning a bedroom hobby into a full time career but how do you make that big jump?
One man who should know is Tim Campbell who survived the toughest of TV tests by being chosen as Sir Alan's apprentice. He is going to be giving a webchat on how to make it in business as a young, online entrepreneur.
