Zodiac Sign More Important than Qualifications for Highest Fliers!

Checking your horoscope ahead of a job interview might not seem so absurd, as new evidence suggests that when it comes to your career path, the only ‘ology’ you need is the astrological kind! Getting that pay rise or promotion could be as simple as whether you and your boss are destined to get along, and being sacked could be more to do with the alignment of the planets than performance.

This is according to a new ‘Offistrology’ study by Croner. The study which uses star sign characteristics to match ideal working relationships, predicts the nation’s three best and worst leaders under the zodiac.

Croner says the study could help job-seekers find their perfect boss, and help managers identify the most harmonious and productive team dynamic by providing an insight into why employees behave the way they do.

Worst Bosses

  1. Libra: Libra bosses are notorious pushovers and will do anything to keep the peace. They are very creative but lack direction, making them the nation’s worst boss, especially if you were born under submissive and day-dreaming Pisces, career-minded Aries, or strong-willed Cancer
  1. Pisces: The unpredictable and idealistic Pisces boss needs dependable employees with their feet on the ground, so will clash with similar star signs. Head-in-the clouds Libra or Virgos, who just love being busy, will be frustrated by a lack of leadership
  1. Capricorn: Beware of Capricorn bosses who thrive on systems and processes and feel uncomfortable with new methods or ideas, meaning Leos won’t be given their chance to shine, and Pisces will feel that their imagination is stifled
Best Bosses
  1. Aquarius: If you’re lucky enough to work for an Aquarius boss, who is compatible with most star signs, you’ll feel challenged, included and motivated. Aquarians love change and thinking of a way to make things better, and make great team players. If you’re an Aquarian working for an Aquarian, your career will progress quickly
  1. Leo: Unsurprisingly, Leos who love to take the limelight make excellent leaders, and work especially well with energetic signs like Cancer and other Leos, and are a perfect match for peace-keeping Libra who won’t be fazed by their lively leadership style
  1. Taurus: The Taurus boss is patient, genuine, but very determined, making them a strong leader. They will provide just the right amount of direction, but also allow employees to be creative and express themselves. They work well with almost any sign, but have a special fondness for hardworking and ambitious Capricorns
Other findings reveal some of the most harmonious working relationships in the Zodiac – and those which spell disaster:

Matches Made in Heaven

  • Thoughtful Gemini employees enjoy research and problem-solving and will be loved by Capricorn bosses who like nothing more than a job well done
  • Leo employees are energetic yet vain and work best with patient and open-minded bosses like Sagittarius or Taurus
  • Loyal and determined Scorpio won’t take advantage of the gullible Pisces boss
Hell on Earth
  • Sensitive Gemini will be eaten alive by Leo bosses
  • Day-dreaming and gossiping Pisces will clash with an indecisive, fanciful Libra boss
  • Sagittarius loves to think ‘out of the box’ and will be frustrated working for a prudent and firm Capricorn
  • Scorpio just wants to be loved and won’t feel rewarded enough working for a modest and shy Virgo
