How to build up links to your website - Two Part Guide
----------------------------
Every small business owner with a web presence will know that
there is a lot more to attracting potential clients to your site than
simply uploading a smart site design, with fancy graphics and
some well-primed content.

These days, with so much competition for Top 10 search engine
rankings, an ongoing well thought-out web marketing campaign is
more essential than ever.

Most search engines (particularly Google) are so wise to the tricks
of search engine marketing firms, that having good meta tags and
a well designed website are far from enough to guarantee good
search engine rankings.

Google, in particular, looks at the number and relevance of links
pointing to a webpage when determining how "important" that
page is. Sites with a healthy number of relevant and well thought
out backlinks from other pages will automatically be seen as more
"important" than pages with none.

We have uploaded a two-part guide to "Link Popularity". In these
articles, we look at how small business owners can build up the
number of good quality links they receive, how to identify potential
link partners, and an overview of Google's "PageRank" system.
