Free sales training and the chance to promote your business on TV

We've teamed up with Natural Training to offer three small businesses the chance to enjoy a free sales training workshop.

Places on this full-day, sales masterclass usually cost £139 but there are 3 free places available exclusively for Business121 subscribers at the next Sales for Non Salespeople workshop on December 6.

As an added bonus, the workshop is being filmed for TV so you might also have the chance to promote your business in front of a national audience.

Natural Training's Sales for Non Salespeople workshops have proven to be one of the most successful sales training for small businesses in the UK. It's an intensive day of learning and practicing proven sales techniques, where you'll learn about all aspects of the sales process, from sourcing great clients to sealing the deal.

Enjoy the commercial benefits of this workshop being filmed for TV!

The training is so effective, it has attracted the attention of, award-winning documentary and film-maker Sarah Cole who has produced programmes for Channel 4, BBC and Discovery. Sarah will be filming the next workshop and will follow 3-5 sales people, documentary-style through the ups and downs of their roles.

I've been assured that this is not the sales equivalent of "Wife Swap" - Sarah is a professional producer sensitive to the challenges involved in selling.

Applications CLOSE TODAY

To apply for your free place at the Sales for Non Salespeople Workshop on December 6, 2006 simply call Natural Training on 0207 702 3003 quoting "Business121 Free SFNS Offer". The deadline for applications is 5pm Tuesday, November 28. That's today so you'll need to get your skates on.

If you are one of the lucky winners of one of the 3 free places, you will be put in touch with the documentary maker who, if it's suitable, may like to film you prior to the training.

How to keep your customers satisfied and coming back for more

SMALL BUSINESS NEWS
===================

Internet changing the landscape for UK businesses
The Internet has changed substantially the way that UK businesses operate, altering people’s working habits, the way they buy goods and services and how these are marketed and sold, according to a new survey of business and consumer Internet behaviour published by the CBI and Google.

Small firms urged to prepare for new employee carer rights
Business owners are being urged to prepare for new legal rights which will give employees the right to request flexible working if they care for a sick or disabled relative.

Business confidence drops, particularly among micro-businesses
Business confidence fell for the first time in five quarters ahead of the recent interest rate rise, figures from the latest monitor have revealed. Micro-businesses seem to be the most concerned, despite usually being the most buoyant in terms of business confidence reports the PCG.

'Dragon' sausages burnt by trade laws
And it seems the Eurocrats that tried to bring us straight bananas are still alive and kicking. A spicy sausage known as the 'Welsh Dragon' will have to be renamed after trading standards’ officers warned the small business manufacturing the sausages that they could face prosecution because it does not contain dragon.

The sausages will now have to be labelled 'Welsh Dragon Pork Sausages' to avoid any confusion among customers, reports the Times!
