UK businesses still take 60 days to pay their bills
------------------------------------
UK businesses are still taking 60 days to pay their bills according to a new report by Experian. Seven years after the introduction of The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, which was intended to speed up payments, the average time UK companies take to pay their bills is now two days longer than before the legislation was introduced! The study also found that large companies take an average of 21.4 days longer to pay their bills than small companies.

Is Government letting down small businesses?
------------------------------------
A CBI report, 'Improving Government Services For Small and Growing Businesses' believes so. It concludes that businesses are turned-off by the myriad of quangos and agencies that administer over two thousand separate schemes. Among the CBI's findings is that Business Link is now used by only 14% of firms and that only 38% of those businesses are satisfied with the information it dishes out.

Small businesses are receiving inadequate customer support and intelligence prior to making crucial technology buying decisions, a new report commissioned by Cisco reveals.
