New startup investment network launched

E-Synergy has launched a new membership service – 'Angelnet' – to give experienced investors access to start-up and early stage ventures with the potential for high growth.

Members of Angelnet will have opportunities to invest in some of the UK’s most exciting business propositions alongside E-Synergy’s established private investor base and its existing stable of funds that total more than £40 million.

The service is open to individual, professional and corporate investors who are seeking to invest sums of £10,000 to £500,000 in early stage ventures with major profits potential. It will work across the UK, seeking to match investors with targeted investment opportunities fitting their criteria.

E-Synergy has built up a track record in backing and providing business and management support to growing companies. It has a high level of skill and experience in areas such as IP management, innovation and enterprise development.

It has strong links with the UK research community and has access to an expanding pipeline of new business propositions through its management of regional funds and its acclaimed Investment Readiness workshops, which it runs on behalf of organisations such as the Carbon Trust and London Technology Gateway (g2i).

Angelnet members will be given information about new opportunities as they arise and access to a series of E-Synergy pre-investment and investment readiness events, as well as quarterly newsletter updates. It will also give access to a customised ‘matching’ service to help identify appropriate opportunities according to a range of selection criteria such as industry sector or geographical location.

Annual membership ranges from £300 + VAT for a full individual membership, £450 + VAT for investment professional membership and £800 + VAT for corporate membership. Free three-month trial memberships are available for individual investors.

For more information about Angelnet, contact Claire Hodson, Executive Manager at E-Synergy, on +44 (0)207 583 3503 or c.hodson@e-synergy.com.
