Doug Richard's accelerated training for startups, London 18th November 2009 - 25% discount for Bytestart readers
Doug Richard's School for Startups will be delivering accelerated training to startups and small business owners at The Royal Institution of Great Britain in London 18th November 2009.
Richard, speaking about the upcoming series of events at the Royal Institution of Great Britain told us, "School for Startups is honoured to work with the Royal Institution where, for more than 200 years, British scientists, engineers and inventors, like Humphrey Davy, Michael Faraday and Lawrence Bragg, have changed the world. The Royal Institution is a global hub for important technological change, with a centuries long commitment to putting hard won innovation to practical use. School for Startups courses or entrepreneurs are designed with the same purpose in mind . . . to turn great ideas into useful solutions that serve people worldwide. We can't wait to begin working with RI."
The "Find, Pitch & Close: The Art of Securing Investment" class will help innovators and entrepreneurs find funding to launch or expand their businesses. They will learn how to leverage the realities of the current economy to make raising investment easier, calculate how much money they need, find and approach investors, craft and deliver the perfect pitch, interview an investor to ensure they will be a good financial partner, and avoid the three biggest mistakes they can make in taking investment.
The seminar will cover 2x 2-hour sessions followed by a live and interactive 90-minute Dragon's Den style "entrepreneur surgery" global webcast. As an attendee you will have the opportunity to ask Doug and our Special Guest speaker Brent Hoberman questions - and participate as international viewers contribute ideas via the live chat-room!
