Pay per Click – The Best System to Profit Internet Ads

The system of sponsored links by key words is the most used on the Internet by either big or small companies. It is also the best reference to take decisions when making a purchase, as the consumer may obtain a list of links that lead to interesting sites according to the search criteria.

Professionals from the 3 main companies, Google, Overture and Epotting, specializing on Internet ads through the system of key-word-links have concluded that Pay Per Click (PPC) is the most effective tool because it is a method that any company can afford, with a high impact quality and low cost.

This was concluded during the journeys “Searchers Marketing, the Advertisement Revolution on the Internet”, held by the Spanish Association of E-commerce.

The key concept is to make the ads a useful tool for the Internet user i.e. a service for him, not a hindrance.

According to Antonio Mas, director of Movizonia, 86% of Internet users’ visits are for searching information purposes, therefore the company position in the search engines is a very effective marketing tool. The key is to place the proper link in front of the user who searches a particular good.

However, companies willing to use the PPC system will have to pay a price for each visit to their website through the link placed in the search engine, this is called “payment for output”. Prices may vary depending on the position of the link and the number of visits received.

Election of the key words by the company is the basis for the positioning strategy and the difference between success and failure. Some techniques to improve this are as follows:

· To list words with close relation between search and contents.

· To include words related to the most profitable sections in the company.

· To be aware of the type of output that generates each particular word.
