National Franchise Exhibition 2012 – Free admission

September 21, 2012

This year’s National Franchise Exhibition takes place on 5th and 6th October at the NEC, Birmingham. We have a promotional code available to provide Bytestart readers with free access to the event.

According to statistics released by the British Franchise Association (bfa), franchising as a career choice continues to expand despite the economic downturn. In fact, there are an estimated half million people employed in franchising via 40,000 outlets.

The Exhibition provides prospective franchise owners with information and advice, as well as hundreds of possible ideas to invest in – some of the brands represented at this year’s show include McDonalds, Lawn Keeper, Mac Tools and Muffin Break.

Alongside the opportunity to meet people who have already started franchise businesses, a wide variety of experts (from accountants to banks and solicitors) will be on hand to offer advice and support.

A free conference will include seminars on key topics such as investment, growing your business, and even how to franchise your business. Other features include a business plan clinic, and ‘franchise starting point’ (free one to one advice from experts within the franchising industry). Children are also catered for, thanks to The Creation Station (which is itself an award-winning franchise).
